The Dibs Thread

The purpose of this thread is to dib's round that you would like to run/ plan on making but dont have enough for an interest thread yet. This is meant to prevent two people working on two rounds with the same theme, unbeknown to them.
To Dibs a series or game, request so below. If a game you would like has already been dibbed, then you are encouraged to discuss it with them, Im sure you can agree on something.

Yes. Although I doubt I'm going to GM a round based on the motion comic and I'm not sure if I'm going to GM rounds based on future titles.

Alright, because I like silly so much (yes, clowns that DON'T try to kill you are da bomb) and because there is a smily running around not attached to the site (wink wink, nudge nudge, please post it in the general chat board smilies thread) I have decided I wish to lay claim to the Earthworm Jim VGMafia game. To account for characters I'll be using the series, including TV characters.

I'm taking dibs on Syphon Filter (1) for the PS1.  A shame it isn't quite as popular as MGS (its competitor and probably the accepted victor of the two).  Not only was it a great combination of stealth, action, bomb diffusal, platforming, and frustration, it made tasers awesome.  In 1999.

It's 4 regions in the main series, which means 4 rounds (if each region gets one round).

Doing a Red round, then a Blue round, then a Green round, then a Yellow round... that's overkill.

I'll at least call dibs on Kanto for now, for round 1 (and hopefully more!).

I was once thinking of making a Pokémon round in which Red was the only Townie and he had to choose his own Pokémon. I got bored with the idea so I scrapped it.

I believe I called dibs on it on the old!VGM.

I once had the idea of a Pokemon round where the Pokemon themselves were the 'powers', and you could trade them between players and stuff, meaning it would be possible for vanillas to get 'powers'.

Then I scrapped that too.

I'll start planning for a Kanto round, and if that's successful then move onto planning for a Johto round and etc.

I don't suppose a second gen round would have the Rocket NPCs from HGSS, since all of the Rockets were nameless anyway in the original GSC. >_>

Actually, GSC round is tempting, but I'll let someone else.

Um, would it be, cheeky persay, of me to claim Beast Wars Mafia on video game turf? I mean, the N64 video game was basically just an arcade style fighting game, but Beast Wars still rocks. Can I, can I, can I, please please please.

I'll even keep it to the video game characters to make it... faithful.

Although I have no power to say "No" I still think that there are HUNDREDS of Game based Games that could be chosen from so I dont understand why people still go for things based off TV

I mostly do it because I actually have less experience in gaming than other people, most of the things that I DO have experience with have already been chosen, and it's things like Earthworm Jim (which actually waws a video game FIRST) and Beast Wars that have slight nostalgia factors to them that I do well with.
