If you are going to be absent for some time and want to inform others about it, this is the thread for it. And if you come back, be sure to post here! If you are an old VGMafia member who has just registered to this site, you're welcome to make your own introductions topic just like the new members are too.

It has come time for me leave for the Christmas. My train back home leaves tomorrow night and I don't think I will be turning my computer on tomorrow at all. I will return sometime in January.

However, I will be checking the site because of the current round tomorrow, and if the round continues, every now and then using my PSP. Don't expect me to post much though.

Okay... so basically I got really pissed off... but nobody really cares or anything. I'm here to say that I no longer have an interest in running my osu! Mafia round, and if someone else would like to run it they may feel free to. Or whatever. I don't really care.

You know, you got me really worried when you just suddenly disappeared and closed the round like that.

And I can understand why you'd be upset over the round not starting anytime soon, but you have to remember that summer is starting soon, which means busier schoolwork and most people would be heading off somewhere for summer holidays.

Then you have the clusters of our mafia communities (Which would be VG, AAO and CR) that don't really have a lot of people in all of them to begin with, unfortunately. Would be nice if more people would join these forums... but...

Oh, I wasn't even pissed off about the round not starting. I was just pissed off.

And I'm trying to stop using the internet as much as I have been. I sit at my computer hitting refresh on forums that aren't going to update anytime soon. It's pretty bad.

And I just don't want to run a round. Too time consuming, and I've totally lost interest.

Probably won't be on here anymore, maybe rarely.

Ok, so the dying VG seems to be an issue often, so here's my idea. Do we have a page on Facebook yet? Because if we don't then the admins can make one, post the page link on here somewhere, and EVERYBODY favourites it. Then our friends see it, some of them join, not many, but we MAY soon find ourselves with more members, and less death. After all, if that Spies 7 place can get enough people, we can, and social networks is the direction online interactivity is going.

Also, I know this isn't the place for ideas, but it's the palce people are making the conversation, so this is where I'm putting this.

Yes, I know, I was one of them. However, exposure helps A LOT, so it is a possible solution. It means we'll have to deal with a few newbs that maybe play a round or sit in forums and then leave forever, but there's bound ot be a few who stick. What do Admins say, give it a try? Also, sorry, I can't run my SSBB round yet, going into exams.

Alright, my final exam is on the 25th of June, so why not set up a sign up thread for SSBB Mafia to start no earlier than June 27th (Canadian June 27th)? I can't give a time yet, but that will give me 2 days to review in full my plans for the round and make sure I'm ready.

I will be ready on the 27th of June, no earlier. If you hook me up with that whole Admin status that GMs get I can open the Living and Dead threads, post the banners and explanatory sections, and open sign ups. People can sign up and all but the game will not start before June 27th. I guess that sounded before like I meant no signing up until June 27th, but i meant that the game can't start before then. After that I'll be ready and excited to host the round.

As far as I know, Zilla was trying to get his round ready some time ago so I want to ask him if he is ready before I give you the GM status, so please bear with me just a little longer.

Because he wasn't ready at time. When you weren't ready either, we went to ask the other people in the roster. Since most of the people on the roster said they weren't ready, Zilla said he could try to finish his round.

It has come the time for me to farewell you guys for a few months. I will be spending the rest of the Summer with my family who I don't see during the Fall and the Spring thanks to my studies in another town. That being said, I won't be using the computer nor the Internet often enough to be able to visit the site or play Mafia. I might make a few occational pop-ins, but that's it. See you in September!
