Inactivity Rules
« on: November 18, 2009, 02:52:06 PM »
1. You get 48 hours to post. If you have school or other real life things to deal with please let the GM know and we will wait until night to enforce this rule.

2. Once you get your 24 hour inactive warning, that's it. You only get 24 hours to post from then on out. If you have to do something or are busy, then just tell the GM. However, they have the right to monitor your activity and do what they see fit about it. Of course, if something they do seems a tad unreasonable you may always discuss it with them or PM me.

3. After the first time you get modkicked for inactivity, any subsequent rounds you get modkicked for inactivity, you will be banned from the round following it.
(EXCEPTION: If you get modkicked for being on vacation or being away for seven days, this does not apply to you. Which brings me to...)

4. If a player is away for seven or more days due to vacation or whatever, the GM has the discretion to remove the player from the game. I have seen that things like this greatly affect the outcome of the game due to the limited amount of players, and this cannot be allowed anymore. If you know you are going on vacation during a round, please do not join unless it is a short absence.

5. After three or four rounds of no modkicking, you will be granted an extra chance. Meaning the first time you get modkicked after that period you will not be banned.

6. By signing up to any round, you automatically agree to abide by these rules.

Not to pick apart the rules, but I'm in Australia now where not only are the seasons different but the school year is basically reversed as well. I start in March and get out in December. Summer break is your winter break and such, so what about the June to fall no-nonsense period referred to in the first clause? May I has an exception plox?

It was poorly worded; the basic intent was just "If you have something that might make you inactive, let the GM know."

It's been amended to reflect this.
